Par la suite, aux <strong>fibres auxiliaires<\/strong> se sont ajout\u00e9es les <strong>fibres structurelles<\/strong>, qui n&#8217;interviennent pas seulement dans la lutte contre l&#8217;initiation et la propagation des fissures lors du durcissement du m\u00e9lange, mais contribuent \u00e9galement \u00e0 l&#8217;am\u00e9lioration des performances m\u00e9caniques du conglom\u00e9rat. En particulier, les performances qui sont am\u00e9lior\u00e9es par l&#8217;ajout des fibres structurelles sont <strong>l&#8217;\u00e9nergie de fracture, la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la traction et la ductilit\u00e9<\/strong>, c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire la capacit\u00e9 d&#8217;un mat\u00e9riau \u00e0 se d\u00e9former sous contrainte avant de se rompre. Ces caract\u00e9ristiques sont li\u00e9es au concept de t\u00e9nacit\u00e9, c&#8217;est-\u00e0-dire la capacit\u00e9 d&#8217;un mat\u00e9riau \u00e0 dissiper de l&#8217;\u00e9nergie pendant la d\u00e9formation sous contrainte (\u00e9nergie de fracture).<\/p>\n<p>Avec les acronymes <strong>ECC (Enginered Cementitious Composites) et HPFRC (High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete)<\/strong>, les technologues des mat\u00e9riaux identifient ces familles de produits cimentaires technologiquement avanc\u00e9s.
